Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Tidal Wave Dev ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the Android applications we publish on Google Play (each, an "App"). This policy applies to all Apps published under the Tidal Wave Dev developer account unless an individual App's store listing links to a separate, app-specific policy.
Information We Collect
Our Apps are built to work with as little personal data as possible. Depending on the App, we may collect:
- Account information — if an App offers sign-in (for example, via Google Sign-In), we receive basic profile details such as your name, email address, and profile picture from the sign-in provider.
- Usage and diagnostic data — crash reports and basic analytics (such as app version, device model, and OS version) to help us fix bugs and improve stability.
- Content you provide — any information you voluntarily enter within an App, such as settings or saved preferences.
We do not collect sensitive personal information (such as financial, health, or precise location data) unless a specific App clearly discloses otherwise in its own listing.
How We Use Information
- To provide and maintain the App's core functionality
- To diagnose and fix technical issues
- To improve features based on how the App is used
- To respond to support requests
We do not sell your personal information.
This Website
Separately from the Apps, this website keeps a count of its own visitors. When you open a
page we record the page address, the time, the referring page, and your browser's
user-agent string, along with a random identifier stored in a first-party cookie named
twd_vid so that a returning reader is counted once rather than every time.
We do not store IP addresses, and we use no third-party analytics or advertising trackers. The identifier is random and is not linked to your name, your email address, or any account; clearing your browser's cookies resets it. Only aggregate totals are shown, on the home page.
Third-Party Services
Our Apps may use third-party services that collect information on their own behalf, including (where applicable): Google Play Services, Firebase (Analytics/Crashlytics), and Google Sign-In. These providers have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data:
Data Sharing
We do not share your personal information with third parties except: (a) with service providers who help us operate our Apps (such as the analytics and crash-reporting tools above), (b) to comply with legal obligations, or (c) to protect the rights, property, or safety of Tidal Wave Dev, our users, or the public.
Data Retention & Deletion
We retain information only as long as necessary to provide the App's functionality or as required by law. You may request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us at the email address below.
Children's Privacy
Our Apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of an App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
